Dear Friends,
I am delighted to welcome you into the life and ministry
of the Aaronsburg Charge of the United Church of Christ. We are comprised of
two UCC churches: St. Peter’s (located on RT 45 in
Our churches are small, growing and welcoming
congregations comprised of people from various walks of life. We come together
to seek out God’s guidance on our journeys through worship, study and
fellowship activities. We are open to new ideas for learning, and having fun
together! What are you seeking from church?
Some of our members sought support as they helped raised
their grandchildren with autism. So they formed a support group which meets
monthly (we are reading a book together, inviting guest speakers and sharing
what we have found helpful).
Others wanted a study group that also had a social
component. This group meets on Tuesday mornings to study and then goes out to
lunch at various area restaurants.
Another wanted to get together to build friendships and
network. They formed a Young Adult Group, which meets monthly and is a great
way for persons new to the community to get involved. Last year they hosted
their first community-wide Easter egg hunt for the community (in conjunction
